We believe that your personal and financial datasets belong to you alone. The App has been engineered from the ground up as a **100% offline-first utility**. It runs locally on your Android device with no cloud components. This document outlines how your data is handled on your physical device and when you contact our support desk.

2. Zero Data Collection

Because Buckspense is a fully offline application:

• No Server Uploads: We do **not** run backend servers, user accounts, or synchronization databases. None of your logs, balances, budget allocations, or categories are ever transmitted outside your device.
• No Financial Permissions: The App does not require access to your mobile banking profiles, credit cards, or text message inbox (SMS) to read transaction alerts. All transactions are logged manually by you.
• No Contact Tracing/Location Logs: The App does not track your physical location, device camera, contacts list, or phone serial indicators.

3. Local Device Storage

Any expense item, tag, category, or budget limit you register inside the Buckspense App is stored directly on your physical Android device.

The App structures these entries within a highly secure local database (implemented via Android's **Room / SQLite** architecture). This database is placed within the App's **sandboxed private storage** directory. The Android operating system isolates this sandbox, ensuring other programs installed on your phone cannot access or read your financial data files.

4. Future Advertising Considerations

While the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) launch of Buckspense is **100% ad-free and contains no advertising tracking code**, we may integrate standard mobile advertisements in future updates to support ongoing developer maintenance.

If mobile ads are integrated in the future:

• We will integrate standard advertising networks, specifically Google AdMob.
• Google AdMob may collect and process device-specific telemetry identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID or GAID) to display relevant, secure ads.
• All ad-related tracking will comply with Google Play publisher rules, and you can review Google's advertising data rules on the Google Partner Privacy Page.

5. Third-Party Services

Other than potential future standard ad SDK integrations (disclosed above), we do not integrate third-party data brokers or marketing analytics libraries.

The App is downloaded through the **Google Play Store**. Google may collect standard application installation metrics, crash diagnostics, and operating system statistics under their own terms of service. We do not have access to or control over Google's telemetry systems.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all details reside locally on your device:

• You can delete individual ledger transactions or clear the entire dataset through the App settings drawer at any time.
• App Uninstallation: Uninstalling the Buckspense App from your Android device instantly and permanently deletes your local sandboxed SQLite database file, along with all recorded transaction histories. Because we maintain zero cloud backups, deleted data **cannot** be recovered by us.

When you submit an enquiry through the feedback form on our website or email us directly:

• We collect your email address, name, and the text of your message to respond to your support request.
• This communication data is used solely to answer your questions and is never shared, leased, or sold to third-party advertising companies.
